WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary:$68,000-$87,500, plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Responsible for successful execution of the commercial closing process from approval of signed loan application through funding/closing, and receipt of recorded documents.
  • Review and approve third-party reports, flood determinations, certificates of occupancy, tax bills, contracts, commercial title and survey, commercial loan documents, property management agreements, organizational documents, and commercial settlement statements.
  • Responsible for scheduling and facilitating kick-off call and any needed status calls during the closing process which include lender, borrower, correspondent team, and title company.
  • Responsible for managing the closing checklist and ensuring commitment requirements are satisfied prior to loan closing and funding.
  • Responsible for review, comment, and approval of property management agreements.
  • Review, analyze, request revisions, and approve third-party reports to insure consistent, accurate information and to make sound business decisions. (This includes zoning, appraisal, property condition, seismic, and Phase I reports.)
  • Request, review, comment, and approve commercial settlement statements prior to closing.
  • Successfully close commercial loan transactions in a timely manner meeting closing dates and ensuring an efficient closing experience for sponsor clients.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • 5-7 years experience in closing commercial real estate transactions, including retail, industrial, multi-family, and office.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment and manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to proactively manage the commercial closing process and activities.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, within a team or across internal and external business areas.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and consultative skills to effectively coordinate and communicate loan closing activities with internal and external business partners.

  • Ability to work at our home office located in Omaha, Nebraska, in a hybrid environment.

PREFERRED:

  • Experience reviewing and approving third-party reports, flood determinations, certificates of occupancy, tax bills, contracts, commercial title and survey, commercial loan documents, property management agreements, organizational documents, and commercial settlement statements.
  • Knowledge of required commercial insurance, including review, requests for revisions, and approval of commercial insurance packages a plus.
