As an intern with Mutual of Omaha, you’ll get a hands-on experience on how a Fortune 500 company runs its day-to-day business. Learn from our experts about Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) best practices. Brainstorm, share ideas, and sharpen your critical thinking abilities while working on enterprise-level ESG initiatives.  

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Hourly Wage: $20.00
  • Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Applicants for this position must not now, nor at any point in the future, require sponsorship for employment. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Become familiar with ESG and Social Impact practices and initiatives.
  • Assist with data collection and analysis related to ESG programs across the enterprise.
  • Conduct research on ESG trends, frameworks, and industry benchmarks.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external business customers related to ESG projects.
  • Under direct supervision, assists with project coordination and execution.  

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • We’re looking for students who are enrolled in a degree program related to Communications, Marketing or Business both before and after the internship.
  • A highly collaborative nature, along with the ability to work independently to manage your projects and hit key deadlines. 
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Skilled in verbal and written communication, and human relations.
  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Ability to work at our home office located in Omaha, Nebraska, in a hybrid environment.
